Make sure to plan ahead!
To ensure a smooth journey, we recommend planning ahead. Pets traveling to Thailand must be microchipped and vaccinated against rabies at least 21 days before arrival. You’ll also need a recent veterinary health certificate and an import permit from the Thai Department of Livestock Development. Once in Koh Samui, most pets are simply inspected upon arrival, with no lengthy quarantine needed.
